The vast majority of Albania`s electricity production (over 90%) comes from hydro-power plants

The Albanian Autovizion Al applied for a building permit for two small hydro power plants (HPPs). The company plans to build two HPPs of up to 2 MW each near the southeastern city of Korca on the Shkumbin river.
