4.8 MW hydro-power plant was set up on the Govza River

Petrol, the Slovenian energy company officially unveiled the 4.8 MW HPP Jeleč, a small hydropower plant in Bosnia Herzegovina on the Govza River.

The two-turbine plant is planned to produce between 14 GWh and 18 GWh of electricity annually, which is sufficient to supply 4.000 households in Jeleč. The investment volume of the 4.8 MW hydro- plant was EUR 6.25 million. The energy company stated its willingness to invest in more renewable energy and energy efficiency project in the future.
