Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov proposes joint venture

During his state visit to Montenegro Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov proposed a joint venture for electricity transmission with the possible participation of neighbor countries (for example Serbia).

The venture could facilitate electricity export to Italy and the undersee power cable connection between the two countries could be also utilized. The Prime Minister of Bulgaria strongly believes in the growing economic potential of the Balkan region and a firm supporter of the integration of Montenegro into the European Union. For his efforts he received the Montenegro Order with Ribbon.
