Hungary’s biggest council housing project applies Austrian technologies

 

A block of buildings on the high street of Budapest, offering 43.500 m2 of living space, has been refurbished. Accordant subsidy schemes for thermal refurbishment allowed for renovation of all 886 housing units, e.g. applying insulation, new windows.

Furthermore the flat roof was fitted with 125 TiSun Large Collectors FA, which equals an area of 1.500 m2. Austrian company TiSun already has a lot of experiences with large-scale projects and is proud to have been selected to deliver it’s products the capital city of Hungary, says sales manager for Hungary Balàzs Szendrö.

4,45 million € of funding for the refurbishment measures was provided by the city of Budapest and the EU-project ‘Panel Plusz’. Approximately 17 % of investment costs were contributed by the landlords.
