Montenegro to build 4 hydropower plants

 

Montenegro plans to build 4 hydropower plants on the Moraca River, stated by the Economy Minister Branko Vujovic.

The 238MW plants will have an estimated annual capacity of 690GWh and will cost approximately € 500 Million. The project is expected to be completed within six years. The pre-qualification tender for the Moraca hydro plants will take place in November with a second tender for selected bidders expected in February or March 2010.
